Ohio State Buckeyes: Donovan Munger, former defensive line player, died at 30

Donovan Munger, a former defensive line player in university football who played for the 2014 Ohio State National Championship team, died, his mother announced on social networks. He was 30 years old.

A cause of death has not been announced.

“My heart never bats the same thing. It is with my deepest sadness that I officially announce in the world the death of my eldest child Donovan Munger. Pray for my family,” wrote his mother in an Instagram post.

Munger was a Horly Competition High School Football player and engaged in Ohio State as a four -star recruit. It was diagnosed with a blood clot before the start of the 2013 season, which forced him to sit for a year, according to 247 sports.

He finally appeared for Ohio State from the 2014 season. He had five in total and a tackle for a defeat during the season.

Buckeyes finished 14-1 and won their first national championship of university football playoffs against the Oregon Ducks.

He returned to the team in 2015, appearing in 11 games.
