Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Baku on Sunday for an official two-day visit aimed at strengthening the ties of Pakistan-Azerbaijan, said Prime Minister’s office (PMO). It was received by senior Azerbaijani officials after landing at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, according to the PMO.

During his visit, he must meet the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev and other senior officials to discuss the expansion of bilateral trade, investment, energy cooperation, defense collaboration and cultural exchanges. Managers will also explore joint efforts on climate change.
