The former star of Green Bay Packers, Brett Favre, offered a brief answer on social networks to the proposal of the Democratic Governor of Wisconsin to replace the “mother” with an “inseminated person”.
But that was far from being the only proposal in the budget recommendation of the Tony Evers administration. Other so -called gender terms have also been called upon to change, including “paternity” to “parentage”, “woman” or “husband” to “spouse” and “father” to “parent”. The word “mother” was also recommended to move to the expression “parent who gave birth to the child”.

“The last push on the left of the Governor of Wisconsin, Tony Evers, is not simply disconnected, it is offensive for mothers,” said Sara Craig, executive director of the association of republican governors, in a statement. “Being a mother is the greatest privilege that I will have in my lifetime, and every mother I know feels the same thing. If Tony Evers can reduce maternity to an” inseminated person “, then our society is lost.”
Evers has declared that its plan would eliminate the income tax of the councils, would prevent owners from seeing increases in property tax and improving the infrastructure of the state, among others, when it introduced the proposal to budget.
