- Intel unveils a new Xeon 6 with P-Core equipment
- New offers promise increased performance and efficiency in the data center and with AI
- Xeon 6 Socs for the network and the edge also revealed
Intel has unveiled its latest range of data center equipment when it seems to follow the rhythm of Nvidia and AMD.
The new XEON 6 processors with P-Cores offer a major boost in power and information, because Intel indicates that its claim remains at the top of the graphics with regard to the treatment of AI and other company tasks crucial.
But the new series is not limited to the data center, Intel promising improved performance through network workloads and edges alongside the server and data center workloads.

“We focus intensely on the marketing of advanced leadership products that resolve the biggest challenges of our customers and help stimulate the growth of their business,” said Michelle Johnston Holthaus, acting co-PDG Intel and CEO of Intel Products.
“The Xeon 6 family offers the best processor in the industry for AI and revolutionary features for networking, while stimulating efficiency and reducing the total cost of possession.”
Designed for the data center, the new Intel Xeon 6700P / 6500P series presents the company’s Cores P, offering what it says is “the perfect balance between performance and energy efficiency”.
Offering up to 86 cores, Intel promises an average improved performance of 1.4x on a number of corporate workloads compared to the previous generation, and 1.5x of better performance in the inference of the Ia on chip compared to the 5th generation Epyc of AMD, while using an -tir of fewer hearts.
But this power also brings an improvement in efficiency, allowing much greater consolidation on servers of five or even ten years, with Intel saying that the Xeon 6 with P-Cores is an ideal option for companies that seek to update The aging infrastructure to better deal with new people AI tasks.
Describing the new offers as the “best CPU in the world for AI”, the Xeon P-Core chips offer more bandwidth and cache, with up to 504 MB of LLC latency and management of Mrdimm memory , alongside integrated AI accelerators and complete software following the classic ML and Petit Genai models.
The Xeon 6 for the network and the edge is the most developed Soc of Intel, designed for a wide range of use cases, and promising more important performance and efficiency again. The chip includes Intel Vran Boost integrated, allowing up to 2.4x the capacity of RAN networks, which could be vital because the demand for such connections continues to increase.
The Xeon 6 will also be the first in the industry to present an integrated media accelerator, the Intel Media Transcode ACCLATOR Offering up to 14x performances by Watt Gain compared to the previous models.
Intel claims that the two versions will be ideal for companies seeking to develop and develop their workforce and processes ready for AI, allowing them to optimize workloads, reduce costs and create a flexible network and evolving if necessary.
The company claims that more than 500 models are available now or in progress, with the best OEMs such as Dell, Samsung, Ericsson, Hpe, Lenovo and many others who have already registered.
