The Philips Hue Sync application is now available for LG TVS, allowing you to synchronize your smart lights with movies, games and television shows on your screen, without the need for a HDMI Play HDMI HDMI synchronization box. Your Hue lights will instantly react to everything on the screen, whether from an external source like a game console or a native Smart TV application like Netflix and Disney +.
Significant, the company behind Philips Hue, announced that the application would arrive on LG televisions in CES 2025 in January, but did not give any exact date for its arrival, saying that it would be available at the start of this year , but now it’s officially here.
In these, Signoy explained that the application would work with all LG televisions using Webos 24 or later, which includes many best televisions that you can buy today. If you do not know if yours is compatible, you can search for your model on the LG website to see the applications it supports.

Synchronization alternatives
If you do not have a TV compatible with Hue Sync, you can always synchronize your smart lights with your screen using a HDMI Philips Hue Play synchronization box. It is easy to configure and works with any HDMI input form, including Blu-ray players, decoders and game consoles. However, unlike the Hue Sync application, the synchronization box will not work with native applications on your intelligent television.
