After a meeting with the founder of the PTI, his sister, Aleema Khan, spoke to the media, revealing that Imran Khan was particularly upset by the cricket match. “Imran Khan watched the match on PTV and was deeply disappointed with the loss. His anger was directed against cricket today,” said Aleema Khan.

She also mentioned that Khan had been visibly upset by the loss, commenting that “the cricket would be ruined if the recommended individuals were appointed to important positions”.

Imran Khan also underlined the role of Mohin Naqvi, who was appointed president of the PCB, criticizing his actions and declaring that Naqvi’s appointments had harmed Pakistan.

Aleema Khan added that Imran Khan had also underlined the extension of Naqvi on various key positions, saying: “No one in Pakistan occupies as many positions as Mohin Naqvi.” Khan also pointed out that under such a bad direction, a respectable person would have resigned now, but Naqvi had not done so. “If asked, what experience does NAQVI in cricket?” questioned.

Regarding rumors about his health, Imran Khan rejected them, adding that only party officials should talk about his health.

Aleema Khan confirmed that there was no truth in reports claiming that Khan had collapsed, adding that his brother was in good health and spoke to his children on Saturday, reassuring the family he was fine.

She also specified that the head of PTI Qasim Khan Suri, who is currently abroad, was not aware of the situation. “There is a significant difference between sources’ relationships and face-to-face meetings,” she said.
