Tashkent: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the “Asan Khidmat” center (Asan Xidmat) in Bakou, Azerbaijan, Tuesday and praised the establishment which offers more than 400 services to residents, while expressing plans to reproduce the model in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister, who was visiting two days in the country of Central Asia, visited the center of the country’s capital which presents modern technology and “excellent” human resources, which, according to him, reflected foresight and The dynamism of President Azerbaijani Ilham Aliyev.

“We would like to benefit from the experience of Azerbaijan. I would be happy to have a replica of this in Islamabad,” he said.
Shehbaz said Pakistan would like to launch a pilot project in Islamabad based on the Asan Khidmat model and that his country would sign an agreement with Azerbaijan to benefit from their experience.
He also invited a team from the center to visit Pakistan to explore cooperation opportunities.
During the visit, the president of the State Agency for the Public Service and social innovation Ulvi Mehdiyev welcomed the Prime Minister.
During the briefing, he said that Asan Khidmat had become a renowned institution due to his excellent performance in the provision of effective public services. He said that the one -shop model facilitates public services and offers citizens access to more than 400 services from 30 government institutions and 15 private institutions, all under one roof.
Mehdiyev informed the Prime Minister that the Center was launched as part of the complete reforms of institutional governance which guarantee a transparent, responsible and effective service of public services, comments of citizens playing a crucial role in the engine of improvements.
