- More pixel 9a price leaks are now emerged
- The 128 GB model can correspond to the Google Pixel 8A
- However, the 256 GB version could cost more
The Google Pixel 9a of the mid -range could be with us next month, and information on freshly clear prices give us an idea of how much this phone will cost in the world – and it seems that Google will manage to reach the prices of the model of last year.
According to the big titles of Android, the phone will cost £ 499 in the United Kingdom for the 128 GB version and £ 599 for the 256 GB model. We also have European prices here, which stops at € 549 for 128 GB of storage and € 649 for 256 GB of storage.
The same source previously displayed American prices in January, and this is repeated again here: $ 499 for the 128 GB model and $ 599 for the 256 GB model. These are all the price of the mid-range phone quite standard, but how do they compare to the 8a pixel?
Like our review Google Pixel 8A will tell you, it was launched at a price of $ 499 / £ 499 / $ 849 in / € 549 (128 GB) and $ 559 / £ 559 / $ 949 AU / € 609 (256 GB). Overall (including Australia, probably, for which we have not yet disclosed the prices), it is the price parity for the 128 GB edition and a slight price bump for the 256 GB edition.
The price is correct?
It may not be surprising that there is a small price increase for the 256 GB version of the Pixel 9a, after we saw the iPhone 16th just hit the market for a starting price of $ 599 / £ 599 $ 999 at – replacing the iPhone SE 3, which only cost $ 429 / £ 419 at launch.
Instead of deploring the cost of additional storage, we may have to be happy that the basic model of the phone costs the same thing as the 2024 version. The additional processing power for all this on-board AI is not cheap, after all.
Of course, this comes with the fairly important warning that none of these prices is yet confirmed. As reliable as Android titles are, we are not going to know the real cost of possession of a Pixel 9A until the phones are officially revealed.
There have been a lot of pixel leaks 9a in recent weeks to sharpen our collective appetites: the phone is supposed to remove the iconic pixel camera bar at the back, and could be delivered with a 6.3 inch and 120 Hz screen, as well as a battery that beats both Google Pixel 8A and Google Pixel 9.
