Sajid Hassan has broken his silence on the alleged involvement of his son in the Mustafa Amir Murder case, expressing the anxiety of the public’s precipitation to declare him guilty without concrete evidence.

Hassan’s son Sahir Hassan was arrested with three others during the raids in the Karachi defense area.

The arrests were part of the current investigation into the highly publicized murder of Mustafa Amir, 23, who disappeared in January. His body was found earlier in February, about a month after his disappearance.

During the interrogation, the police said that Sahir had admitted to having sold drugs via Snapchat in the past two years, winning around 1,500,000 rupees per week.

Authorities said they admitted to having provided drugs to Mustafa Amir and Armaghan Qureshi – the first suspect in the case.

Addressing journalists, the actor said that murder was a “heartbreaking tragedy” and prolonged sympathy for Mustafa’s family.

“I haven’t been able to sleep since I heard Mustafa’s mother’s mother,” he said. “Mustafa was like my own son. I want justice to prevail, not only for my child but for all the families involved. »»

Hassan, however, criticized his son’s treatment in the media and by society. “My son has already been found guilty without trial. I do not defend his actions, but I only ask for a fair legal process, “he added.

The actor also revealed that his family had been socially isolated, with neighbors breaking ties and work possibilities.

Police said SAHUR’s confession included the names of more than 12 customers and explained how he headed his drug company exclusively via Snapchat. Drugs were recovered from his possession during the arrest, the authorities added.

Legal representatives of the Hassan family argued that drug charges should be treated separately from the murder investigation, qualifying the connection of the two cases to try to divert the attention of the primary probe.

“My son’s mistakes should not be used to overshadow the murder investigation,” said Hassan.

Despite the test, the actor expressed his confidence in the judicial process.

“I believe in the courts. I want the truth to come out-no matter how painful it can be, “he said.

The Court extends the pre -trial detention of Armaghan

Earlier in the day, a short anti -terrorist (ATC) extended the pre -trial detention of Armaghan Qureshi and Shiraz, key suspects in the Mustafa Amir Murder case, for five days when ordering their medical examination.

During the hearing, Armaghan said he was tortured in police custody and asked not to be given for a new interrogation. He also declared that he was denied access to a bathroom for ten days.

However, the court rejected its allegation for refusing access to a bathroom declaring that “if that were the case, you would not be standing here”.

The court authorized the accused of meeting his family and lawyers in the presence of police officers and court officials.
