What if agents of artificial intelligence (AI) could hire other AI agents to help them in their work?
This is essentially the idea behind Mech Marketplace, a decentralized platform of the Crypto-A Olas company which allows easy collaboration between various AI agents on an autonomous basis.
“We are not at a point where AI agents can do anything,” said David Minarsch, founding member of Olas, in an interview. “In order to archite the systems, it is better to separate the concerns. You therefore let different agents specialize in different things, and this specialization gives rise to the need for agents to trade with each other. »»
For example, if you use an AI agent to earn money from the prediction markets, the agent would generally be how to interact with the Paris platform – how to place orders, how to withdraw funds – but he may need help from another AI agent to make real predictions.
AI agents can already interact with each other; Olas has recorded more than four million transactions in its ecosystem and more than half between the agents. The difference said Minarsch, is that AI agents can currently find other agents only by code their specific identity.
The market therefore makes things more dynamic; Instead of being scheduled to interact with specific robots, AI agents can now simply come to the mechanism market and find everything they need.
Olas is supported by a variety of blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Gnosis Chain, with the vast majority of transactions occurring on this last channel. Nearly 2,000 AI agents have already been deployed through the Olas ecosystem, around 500 are active daily.
The company recently collected $ 13.8 million to help it launch Pearl, an application shop that allows users to have AI agents.
At the bottom of the line, AI agents will probably be able to abstraction of some of the complexities of the crypto, said Minarsch. Instead of manually overcoming portfolios, bridging networks and managing the DEFI performance chests, users will simply be able to tell the agent what to do for them.
“We will find ourselves in a situation where each human will have several agents increase their daily life and fully do things for them,” said Minarsch.
