Jake Knapp made PGA National looks like your average municipal course Thursday.
The 30 -year -old man fired a 59 without Bogey without Bogey in the first round of Cognizant Classic – formerly known as Honda Classic.
Knapp came out of the doors heated in red, sting each of his first five holes; He had cut two, and on the fifth par-three, he stuck a start to 194 yards at only three and a half feet.

It is also the sixth time in the history of the PGA that anyone who has gone 12 sous a tour, joining Scottie Scheffler, Jim Furyk (twice), Paul Goydos and Hayden Springer.
It was a 29 on the front and a 30 at the back for Knapp.
Knapp reached each by 5 in two shots, and he struck nearly 70 feet of steep putts on the par-3 and 4S. He then drilled his six putts between 6 and 12 feet during the day.
It would be properly assumed that Knapp is the leader of the clubhouse at the moment, with three other closer behind him at eight sous.

Knapp has a victory of the PGA Tour to his credit – the Open of Mexico 2024, a year and one day at his 59; He participated in his first three majors last year, finishing T55 at the Masters and missing the Cup at the PGA and US Open championship.
