Hyderabad:
The great chief of the democratic alliance and former federal minister Ghumlam Murtaza Jatoi faced the recording of another FIR against him on Thursday.
The new FIR, which was recorded at the Ameenani police station on the complaint of the State, charged it, as well as to its associates, to the assault of the police in which two cops were injured.
The Ameenani police submitted a plea before the court anti-terrorism to obtain a pre-trial detention of Jatoi which has languished in the Nara prison since February 17, when he was arrested from Wehehro Feroze as part of a murder of the election day of February 8, 2024 against him at the Moro police station in 2024.
His family has so far obtained a deposit in five FIRs in addition to an order from the High Court of the Sindh which prohibited the police from arresting it in any case, with the exception of the three FIRs which were registered before the SHC.
