A police report subject to the anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Lahore said former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry “ ciguable ” in five cases linked to the incidents of May 9.

The report, which was tabled during the hearing of the provisional bond of Chaudhry, identifies it as responsible for violence and vandalism that occurred on May 9, including incidents in Rahat Bakery and Sherpao Bridge, reported Express News.

During the hearing, Fawad Chaudhry, citing the absence of his main lawyer, asked for a postponement of the procedure.

The court accepted the request and postponed the case, planning the next hearing for March 19. ATC judge Manzoor Ali Gill presided over the session.

Chaudhry had filed a provisional surety in relation to the cases of criminal fire and vandalism, including those linked to destruction outside the Rahat bakery and other locations on May 9. The police report, which describes Chaudhry culpable, is an important development in the current legal battle.

The court should hear new arguments in the case in March, and Chaudhry will remain until then under the provisional surety.

Previously, an animated altercation between Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Shoiib Shoiib Shaheen lawyer and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry, broke out at Porte n ° 5 of Adiala prison, causing slaps and verbal abuses on Saturday.

The two leaders first exchanged hardwords, Chaudhry accusing Shaheen of being an “agency planing”, what Shaheen retorted, “your own business,” said Express News.

The confrontation then intensified with Fawad Chaudhry slamming Shoaib Shaheen, dropping the head of the PTI on the ground.

The prison staff intervened to break the fight. Fawad Chaudhry has then entered the prison premises, while Shoaib Shaheen has undergone an arm injury since the fall.

Lawyer Pti Nadia Khattak, who witnessed the incident, condemned Chaudhry’s actions, declaring that physical violence was unacceptable despite the differences. She expressed a relief that Shaheen did not suffer any serious injuries.
