Peshawar:
The Rue-I-Hilal Committee announced that the Moon for Ramazan was not seen on Friday and that the sacred month will start from Sunday.
The committee made this announcement after its meeting in Peshawar.
“No testimony of acceptable acceptance and in accordance with the Sharia of the Moon observation was received from part of Pakistan,” said the president of the Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad committee, adding that after reaching a consensus, it was decided that the first day of the sacred month will land on Sunday.
Ramazan Crescent was seen in Saudi Arabia, however, when the month of fasting will start on March 1, Saturday, Arab News reported.
He was also seen in the water, according to the National Daily.
