Before a “walk against Mills” on Saturday, an online petition to recall that the Governor of Maine received more than 22,000 signatures.
Janet Mills and President Donald Trump had a heated debate last week after the two clashed on Trump’s decree which aims to keep transgender athletes outside the sports of girls and women.
Last week, Trump told her in the White House that she had to follow her decree, or “you are not going to obtain federal funding”, to which she replied: “We will see you in court”.

Trump then published an investigation into title IX against the State, as well as California and Minnesota.
