Our review Sony WH -1000XM5 will tell you that we have been very impressed by the headphones linked to the flagship ear of Sony since their launch in May 2022 – but it was almost three years ago. Now it seems that a follow -up pair is finally about to get started.
The Walkman blog team (via Notebookcheck) spotted what seems to be important documents, listing a few countries where long-awaited Sony Wh-1000xm6 headphones should appear in: India and Vietnam.
In addition, there are three colors references, which are supposed to be black, platinum and midnight blue. The current model Sony WH-1000XM5 is available in these three colors, plus smoked pink, which was added later and does not receive here.
There is no other information from this particular leak, but that adds to the growing evidence that the Sony Wh-1000XM6 headphones will appear very soon-maybe before we have halfway through the year.
The best new 2025 earpiece?
Although there are generally two-year gaps between the flagship launches on the Over-Earl helmets, the thought is that the company waited longer this time to put this series in synchronization with its headphones-more recently, the Sony WF-1000XM5.
Whatever the reason for the delay, these headphones are now late, which makes a launch in 2025 most likely at this stage. Once the new model has been revealed, it will undoubtedly argue a space in our best listening guide.
This is by no means the first leak that we heard around the Sony WH-1000XM6. Last month, we saw regulatory deposits linked to the device, which is always a safe sign that the new equipment is about to become available for consumers.
