Nascar: Christopher Bell wins at the Americas circuit

Christopher Bell won his second NASCAR victory in as many weeks, winning the checkered flag at the Americas circuit on Sunday.

Bell also won the Ambetter Health 400 in Atlanta last week before bringing the Grand Prix of Echopark this year on the road route.

Kyle Busch led for a decent song in the second half of the race, but fell back into the closing laps after his right back was messed up.

The last three laps have been a three -men race between Bell, William Byron and Tyler Reddick, who composed the last three winners of this race.

The winner of Daytona 500 in Byron did everything he could to get Bell, and once Bell erased Busch, the Oklahoma driver had to make a desperate attempt to keep his Toyota by Joe Gibbs Racing in front of the Byron of Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet and 2023 Race Winner Reddick.

But in his efforts to bring his second victory to Echopark to the house (Bell arrived second last year), Bell was able to retain the victory over the right.

“These route races on the road are so fun,” said Bell. “(Busch) was doing such a good job at the execution of his race. He left and allowed me to get out. When he did it, I just said didn’t fight.”

It is the first time since 2023 that a Nascar driver has won consecutive races, when Byron won Le Penzoil 400 and United Rentals Work United 500 in March.

This is the 11th victory for Bell’s career, which started in 2020. Bell has now won at least two races in each of his last four seasons; He won three last year.
