Islamabad:

The Senator of the PML-N Irfan Siddiqui made sure that speculation on the PPP jump ship of the ruling coalition, claiming that the party does not intend to throw the country into another political crisis.

During an interview with a private news channel, Siddiqui said that the PPP “would not want the country to enter another crisis” by withdrawing from the government alliance.

“If the National Assembly dissolves, we would head towards another instability and another election would be required. If the elections are held here [in NA]So what would happen in the provinces?

“Thus, the country then went in another crisis. My opinion is that, given the way in which Pakistan comes out of the difficulties, the PPP would not want the country to resume a crisis,” he said.

His remarks came in response to a question on the PPP which potentially left the coalition by refusing to support the next federal budget.

Siddiqui has recognized that the possibility that the PPP is moving away real. “Without a doubt, if the PPP still decided today” that we do not support the government “, then we can be voted tomorrow because the PML-N does not have the [simple] majority.”

However, he stressed that neither the PPP nor the PTI could form a government alone, given their inability to obtain a simple majority in the general elections of last year.

The senator reaffirmed the need to maintain the PML-N agreement with the PPP.

“PPP has a [history] From democratic struggle, he wants to maintain parliament and not put the system in chaos. National interests are more expensive [and] He does not want to do a policy of violence.

“So, in all these aspects, [the PPP] is now instinctively very close to us (PML-N), whatever our ideologies. “”

Siddiqui admitted the PPP reserves and said efforts were underway to remedy it, a committee formed under the ISHAQ DAR.

“We will certainly resolve these reservations,” he said.

It is relevant to note that in January, the Central Executive Committee of the PPP (CEC) demanded that the federal government have long hold local government polls in Punjab and Islamabad, in accordance with its agreement with the power coalition.

The party has also repeatedly raised concerns about the construction of controversial channels in the Punjab Cholistan region.

He called for an urgent meeting of the Common Interest Board (CCI), which has been in limbo for 11 months, requesting that the question of the canal be placed on the table.
