A fight during a national cheerleading competition in Dallas sparked panic on Saturday and led to injuries for those who try to escape a chaotic situation.
A fight at the NCA National Star Championship caused the overthrow of several posts and sparked a panic of those inside the Kay Bailey Hutchison Center, Dallas police said. At least 10 people were injured while trying to evacuate the establishment, according to the authorities.

The overturned posts made a loud noise and sparked reports of shots inside the Congress Center, witnesses told Fox 4 News. The police said that no shooting had occurred, but the spectators came from the center of the congresses in a “stampede”.
“I was a little nervous. I thought I was doing good, then we arrived here, and it was just a deep inspiration and do it for our children,” said a parent of a cheerful girl who participated in the competition.
Police said those who were injured had undergone bumps, bruises and even broken bones.

Certain performances of the National Star Star Championship were canceled and the event resumed on Sunday. The station reported that some teams had decided not to participate in the event after the incident.
Tiana Cody told Fox 4 News that her daughter had decided to perform on Sunday.
