Intermittent rains in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in the past five days have resulted in four deaths and nine injuries, according to a report from Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

The strong precipitation affected several districts, including Haripur, Battagram, Bajaur, Upper and Lower Kohistan, Dir, Hangu, Khyber and Torghar. The report also mentioned that 14 houses had been damaged by the rains, with 10 partially damaged and three completely destroyed.
The PDMA asked the district administrations to immediately relieve affected families and provide appropriate medical care for the injured. In addition, the authorities were invited to take all the necessary measures to reopen the highways that have been blocked due to the rain and snowfall.
