A regulation was concluded in the Karachi assault case involving Shahzain Marri and his guards, where they would have attacked two men near the boat of the boat last month.
Victim Barkat Soomro said that he had forgiven attackers “for Allah’s good” after mediatized political figures between the two parties.
Addressing the local media, Soomro expressed his gratitude to journalists for highlighting the case.
He added that his former family was in contact with the accused, leading to reconciliation.
The accused recognized their reprehensible acts and proposed to pay compensation, but Soomro refused, choosing to forgive them in place.
Political and feudal figures, including Mir Nadir Magsi, Nawab Gazain Marri, Saeed Ghani and Nasir Hussain Shah, were present during negotiations.
South police said they learned about the regulations through media reports but had not received official legal confirmation.
The authorities argued that Marri would be arrested if she was found in Karachi, with the case in procedure before the court.
The assault, which occurred on February 19, drew public attention after a video of the attack has become viral, which prompted the police.
Seven suspects, including four guards, were arrested and weapons were recovered.
While the police managed to apprehend the attackers of the attackers, Shahzain Marri managed to flee Quetta after the assault.
The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South, Syed Asad Raza said that among the arrested security guards are Ghaus Bakhsh, Jalad Khan, Ali Zain, Hassan and others.
The security guards arrested are Shahzain Marri’s personal bodyguards.
