EXCLUSIVE: Riley Gaines defended equity in female sports. Will that lead her to the campaign track?

The former activist who has become an NCAA swimmer promised to help cancel any democrat who allows the inclusion of trans athletes in the sports of girls and women. This list added 45 senators to it on Monday evening, after each Senate democrat voted against the “protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act”.

Gaines spent Monday in Minnesota, rallying supporters to defend a state bill aimed at protecting female athletes against trans inclusion. However, this bill did not succeed either, failing the House of Minnesota Representatives.

After Gaines helped President Donald Trump and the Republicans to take advantage of national indignation in the face of democrats allowing the inclusion trans in the sports of girls, she now turns on the inflict of new consequences on the mid-term DNC of 2026, because the party has apparently refused to move on the issue.

However, Gaines also does not make the opportunity to take matters into hand, and finally to introduce itself for a public service, she told PK Press Club Digital in an exclusive interview last Friday.

“This is never what I saw myself,” said Gaines, who specialized in health sciences at the University of Kentucky and initially planned to continue dentistry.

“Now, of course, with this problem and more, I would say all the agenda in all in America. I am so passionate, I care so deeply, and I love it, so we will see. It is certainly not something that I do not exclude.

Gaines said that the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard would be his first model in a potential political career.

“She is so fierce, and she is so strong, and what you see is what you get,” said Gaines. “She stays firm for what she knows how to be true, for what she knows how to be fair, fair and moral and just. And I think we need more. We don’t have much, it’s a very rare line, especially in the political sphere.”

The curriculum vitae of sheaths already includes three years of highly visible activism in the space for the protection of female sports. Last week, a law named, “The Riley Gaines Act”, was adopted at the Georgia House of Representatives, which seeks to ban trans athletes in the sports of girls and women in this state.

After campaigning for Trump and the Republicans in 2024, Gaines became a conservative counter-culture figure that quickly integrated, leading the popular Podcast Outkick “Gaines for Girls”.

Last week, she also led a prayer before the race for NASCAR STAPS‘Echopark Automotive Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

If and when sheaths gets mad enough to throw her hat into the arena with her own political campaign, she already has the confidence of at least one figure of a gop.

Senator Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., Worked in close collaboration with Gaines as a legislative ally in the battle to prevent men from female and girls sports. Blackburn was the co-sponsor of the law on the protection of women and girls in sport and, in total, proposed three laws on the issue.

Blackburn, to work with sheaths on this question, has the confidence that the former swimmer and budding dentist could achieve everything she seeks to do.

“I think Riley has the ability to continue what she wants to continue,” Blackburn told PK Press Club Digital. “She thought she would be a dentist, and life has taken interesting tricks, and I am so happy to see the work she does to protect women and girls.”

Gaines has already been frank on questions beyond female sports, firmly taking a position in accordance with Trump and the general republican public on issues such as immigration and border security, American relations with Ukraine and the return of Dei. She has made these positions clear and consistent in her activity on social networks going up several years now.

However, for the moment, Gaines focuses on the withdrawal of the political careers of the Democrats who voted to keep the trans athletes in female and girls sports.

Immediately after the Senate on Monday evening’s vote, Gaines went to social networks to call the Democrats who voted against the law on the protection of women and girls in sport, and rally his supporters to oppose it. Gaines specifically underlined Senator Jon Ossoff, D-GA.

“You have a girl. Do you have no shame? The Georgians are watching. I will put you on a mission to do what I can take from your Senate seat in 2026,” wrote Gaines in a photo that showed the names of each Democratic senator who voted against the bill.

Gaines previously told PK Press Club Digital that she expected to support elected Republican officials, including Trump, in his efforts to overthrow these senators. She also claims that some of the Democrats she will seek to dislodge is already opposed to trans inclusion.

“In some of these private confidential conversations that I have had with several Democratic senators, they assure me that they are absurd to allow men to take female sports and that they would not want it to happen to their daughters. But they hide behind many different excuses,” said Gaines.

After these alleged senators hid behind their apologies, they officially made an opponent of sheaths, and the DNC can even prepare for sheaths to be an opponent for many years to come.
