Pakistan leader Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), lawyer Salman Akram Raja, refuted the claims made by the lawyer Saif concerning Sehri’s refusal in Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), the founder Imran Khan, reported Express News.
Addressing the media outside of Adiala prison on Tuesday, Raja rejected rumors on Khan’s health, declaring that the former Prime Minister had undergone a routine examination and is healthy.
He also rejected the allegations that Imran Khan was denied Suhoor or prevented from observing religious practices. “There is no truth in the affirmations made by lawyer Saif,” he said. He added that the head of the PTI Sheikh Waqas Akram should inquire with SAIF about the need to make such an irresponsible statement.
Raja stressed that Khan is in prison for the good of the nation and has no complaint regarding his party. “We have discussed our next action plan today, and Imran Khan has given instructions,” he said.
He also said that Choudhry Zaheer Abbas was appointed lawyer for Khan for all legal issues related to prison, while some people have tried to improve their political stature through legal practices. He ordered that all petitions are given to Abbas.
Raja concluded by declaring that individuals assigned by Khan should focus on their political duties. He also announced the appointment of Niazullah Niazi as an official spokesperson for PTI, Bushra Bibi appointing four focal people to help his work.
Raja also addressed the opposition alliance, expressing respect for Maulana Fazlur Rehman and declaring that Khan had issued certain directives concerning his inclusion in the Alliance, which Raja will communicate to him.
