“Many of us have tried to warn the new management of the ESPN that the day would come when this idiot would attract them to permanent political controversy and that they could be subsumed by this, to dismiss him,” said Olbermann in response to McAfee’s remarks on Monday. “That day is today. Leave it.”

McAfee dug during his show.

“Now, Canada, listen, there have been some things that told me about Canadians that I guess I respect because of the passion you have for your country – which I hope you understand that I show the same thing for mine,” said McAfee in the series. “You hooked my country.”

“I understand, now, Canadians that they have much more passion for their country than I could have imagined. Many terrible things have been said about me, and I understand it,” continued McAfee.

“I did not say that the Canadians were terrible. I said that your country was. You hook us. I said that you were terrible. Using your hand and moving forward. I still love Canadians … I hope it settles down.”

Canadian fans huts during the US national anthem started in the middle of President Donald Trump’s prices on Canadian products. The president took a break in February but made him begin this week.
