- Samsung’s latest concept of ecosystem of the OLED screen wants to promote a “ multiple screen experience ‘seamless”
- Film technology on econetic cells (OCF) stimulates brightness
- The integrated handle handle improves portability
Samsung has introduced a concept that mixes robust portability with a futuristic design – an 18.1 inch OLED monitor with a 4.5R folding radius, which turns into a briefcase shape with an integrated handle handle.
Presented at MWC 2025, this foldable OLED panel has a QHD + resolution of 2000 × 3664 pixels, offering a high pixel density of 184 ppi, although Samsung has not yet confirmed commercial availability.
In addition, Samsung focused on energy efficiency by incorporating the technology of cell films (OCF), which improves brightness while maintaining lower energy consumption. This ensures that the display remains visible without drainage of the battery life, even in light conditions.
Optimized for efficiency and sustainability
During the event, Samsung Display also introduced its “OLED MAGIC” theme, revealing OLED panels with ultra-thin glasses, QD high performance monitors with cooling rates up to 500 Hz and 240 HZ OLED panels for laptops.
Samsung suggests that its “Color Studio” stand in MWC will highlight “colors consistency” on different OLED screens.
Its latest display ecosystem is based on the facilitation of a “multiple screen experience”, allowing users to transparently pass from the visualization of the content such as video or a web browser. On one screen to another.
“Users can start watching a show on their smartphone and pass transparently to their TV or browse the products on a laptop and make the purchase on their smartphone,” said Samsung.
“This interconnected experience allows a fluid and uninterrupted online route through various devices, whatever the place.”
