You can now access Gemini from the lock screen of your iPhone

  • Google Gemini has six new iPhone lock screen widgets
  • Gemini also has new shortcuts at the iPhone control center
  • Widgets include instant access to voice input, image recognition and file analysis

Google just made much easier to talk to Gemini on an iPhone, even before it is unlocked. The Gemini application now offers widgets for iPhone locking screens and the control center, which makes it less like a third -party chatbot and more as an integrated functionality of iOS.

The six new locking screen widgets offer instant access to a different gem function. Before this update, going to Gemini meant unlock your phone, find and open to the application, then choose what you wanted to do. Although barely an event, it was not exactly transparent. Now, however, you can jump directly into the action with a single tap.

The “Private” type widget allows you to quickly draw a question from Gemini without opening the complete application. Need a quick response to find out if penguins have knees? Now you can discover it without disturbing everything you do with the other. “Talk Live” is just as practical, allowing you to dive directly into a real -time conversation with Gemini, first jumping the additional step to launch the cat.

The “Open Micro” option is perfect when your hands are full, but you suddenly remember that you must define a reminder, plan a meeting or ask Gemini to write an email. If you are the kind of person who frequently thinks of the list of tasks in the worst possible moments, it could save you from the familiar cycle of “I will remember that later”, then, inevitably, forgetting.
