The head of the SC rehijacked one day after his retirement

Islamabad:

Just a day after his retirement as an additional (judicial) registrar, Nazar Abbas was re -employed as director general (judicial wing) – a BPS -21 position – at the Supreme Court on a six -month contract.

The DG judicial wing post was created for the first time before the Supreme Court.

Last month, a bench from the Supreme Court of two judges had withdrawn a notice of outrage delivered to higher staff for not having set a case concerning the competence of regular benches.

Abbas’ base salary to be fixed in BPS-21 at the last salary stadium, including personal remuneration on which he was entitled to the date of retirement. All compensation will be eligible for his class of servants under the federal government and the rules of the Supreme Court from time to time, in addition to all ad hoc alternatives. The same will apply to its leaves.

ABBAS’s full -time employment would be available to the Supreme Court of Pakistan. In any case, it can be used by the appropriate authority without complaint for additional remuneration. He will obey the rules prescribed at any time for the moment for the regulation of the service on the framework to which the post, in which he was used, belongs.

According to a notification, Abbas will be entitled to a car of 1300 cm3, with a monthly ceiling of 270 liters. He can take the car outside the municipal limits of Islamabad subject to the condition that the fuel ceiling does not exceed. In the event that he does not benefit from transport, he is entitled for monetization to which other federal officials of his class are entitled.

It is entitled to the same ease of accommodation of the residence belonging to the government or hired as that eligible for a person of service of service / Supreme Court corresponding.

With regard to all other not specified questions in this contract, the rules / regulations applicable to federal officials / Supreme Court establishment apply. The notification was published with the approval of the chief judge of Pakistan Yahya Afridi.

We learn that there was a feeling of uncertainty prevailing among the permanent employees of the Supreme Court with regard to re -employment.

Several retired officers were appointed to key positions and most of them belonged to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) where CJP Afridi is also from.

The registrar SC Muhammad Saleem Khan himself is a retired officer. The secretaries of the Pakistan Judicial Commission and the supreme judiciary of Pakistan are also retired officers. The two messages are recreated after the Afridi judge oath as a CJP.
