The secretary general of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Salman Akram Raja, transmitted a message from Imran Khan to Jamiat Ulema-Elam (JUI-F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the exhortant to make us forces with PTI and to emphasize, “ is the moment for you to support us’.
At a press conference in Islamabad earlier, Raja expressed his concern that many young people lost confidence in the future of the country and were looking for better opportunities abroad. Reaffirming Khan’s message, he said: “It’s time for Maulana Fazlur Rehman to join us in this struggle.”
He transmitted a message from the founder of PTI at the head of Jui-F, declaring that Khan said: “Tell Maulana Fazlur Rehman that it’s time for you to support us.
According to Khan’s message, PTI has renewed efforts to establish links with Jui-F. Sources have indicated that Raja has contacted Leadership Jui-F to initiate discussions and asked for a meeting. The management of Jui-F informed PTI that Rehman was abroad for OMRA but agreed to meet on his return.
