Travis Kelce spoke publicly for the first time since his announcement that he was going to return to the Chiefs of Kansas City during his podcast which was published on Wednesday.
Kelce, 35, initially declared that he “kicked me that I can go down” concerning his decision to retire in the episode shortly after the loss of the Super Bowl of the Chiefs against the Eagles of Philadelphia.
Star Tight End said, in the end, he still likes to play football as part of the reason for his return.

“I think the most important thing is that I love playing football,” said Kelce. “I always feel like I can play at a high level and perhaps at a higher level than last year. I don’t think it’s my best outing. I think I dropped my guys in many more moments than I helped them,” Kelce said on “New Heights”.
“Especially if you look at my history and how I have gone for years. I want to give it a good race. I have a bad taste in my mouth in the way I finished the year and how much I played well and how responsible I was for me. And I love so many people in Kansas City, both in this establishment and in the community, and I like the house for me.
“I don’t want to leave this life yet. I have put a lot of hard work and I put a lot on the best possible for KC.
Kelce said his decision to come back was based on sensation and the “pure feeling of intestine”.
“This is similar to all the decisions I make. It’s just feeling,” he added. “I am not a great measure the advantages and disadvantages and all that, pure feeling of intestine. I love this game, and I love going to the building with the guys who are there.”

“The coach (Andy) Reid was one of the greatest influences on my life, not just in the football game. And I don’t want to stop working with him. I don’t want to stop learning from him. I don’t want to stop being the reason he is successful, nor being part of the reason for my life.
“There are so many people in this building that I love with all my man at heart. I want to continue living these dreams and working with them.
Kelce said that the loss of the Chiefs Super Bowl was probably “the biggest factor” of his return, but that even if they had won against the Eagles, he could still come back.
“I mean it’s a pretty cool way to go out, but I think I would always have this love for the game and I think I would have thought about it more if we would have won. I think we lost and how we lost and just the feeling.
“The end of this game, I have the impression of having guys that I come in this building with much more effort and concentration and I don’t know what it was during this game. I was not at my best.”

Kelce also said he thought he could be a better player than he was last season.
The NFL veteran was still productive last season, but its yards (823) and the affected (3) in the regular season this year were the lowest he had in any season.
If the chiefs have to return to the Super Bowl for the fourth consecutive season next year, they will need their starry end to be at its best.
