The wide receiver room of the Seattle Seahawks should be very different later this year.
A few minutes from the others, the news announced that the longtime clip Tyler Lockett should be published, while DK Metcalf would have asked for a job.
For Lockett, this decision was somewhat awaited as the age of 33 approaches, but the demand made by Metcalf seemed to be a surprise.

Metcalf, a second round of Ole Miss in 2019, has been robust since he flashed his terribly athletic body before the NFL scout combination of this year. He raised more than 900 yards during each of his first six seasons of the NFL, and overshadowed 1,000 yards in half of them (he had 992 in 15 games this season).
The 27-year-old has signed a $ 72 million contract before the 2022 season that will expire after this season, and you cannot hit the Seahawks to have the eyes of the third year’s next time, Jaxon Smith-Migba next year.
“JSN” broke out in his second campaign, leading Seattle with 100 receptions, 1,130 yards and six affected, easily becoming their highest target. All these statistics were ahead of Metcalf line 66-992-5.

The free agent class of this season would have been an elite perhaps four years ago, because many decent curriculum vitae are available. But many are at the back of their careers, so the price requested for Metcalf could be quite high. There are also many teams that could use a first -rate receiver.
Perhaps the Seahawks also want to attract attention to the quarter-Arrière Geno Smith, who should become a free agent without restriction next year when he is 36 years old.
After it seemed that his career was due for an early outing, it was all that the team could have hoped since he became their full-time starter in 2022. During these three seasons, he was 27-22 with a percentage of completion of 68.5, 12226 yards, 71 touched and only 35 interceptions. It was a long road for Smith, which was a replacement from 2015 to 2021 after failing as a starter of the jets.
During his 10 -year term with Seattle, Lockett captured 661 assists, including 61 affected, for 8,594 yards, eclipping 1,000 yards each year from 2019 to 2022.
