Philadelphia’s Phillies Manager Rob Thomson had an interview at stake during a training match in the spring on Wednesday, but he didn’t have many words.
This is because he looked at his launcher, Jesús Luzardo, abandoning consecutive circuits on three consecutive throws.
The phillies visited the Tigers of Detroit in Florida when Thomson had the helmet at the end of the second round of a goalless match.

During the interview, Jahmai Jones left Luzardo in depth, leading to a typical ESPN crew call.
“It looked like a change,” clumsily intervened Thomson.
The next striker, Andy Ibáñez, followed with a Home Run roughly in the same place.
Thinking that they had a little time, Karl Ravech thanked Thomson for having “respected” the broadcast team through consecutive jacks. Then Gleyber Torres came on the plate.

It was not exactly what Luzardo wanted after having displayed an MPM of 5.00 in just 12 departures in a 2024 injury season. He showed promise with the Miami Marlins, displaying an MPM of 3.48 in 2022 and 2023. He was initially a hope of athletics of Oakland.
But after his disturbing campaign in 2024, the Marlins exchanged it to their rivals of NL East in December.
Luzardo believes that the team’s starter n ° 5 in a stacked rotation led by the co-plans Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler, the latter finished second in NL Cy Young Award Voting last season with a better 2.57 ERA in career.
