A knee injury will keep the right field player to St. Louis Cardinals Jordan Walker outside the baseball diamond for the coming days.
The 22 -year -old seemed to undergo the injury after walking on a head of nozzle while hunted a fly ball in a training match in the spring earlier this week. The cardinals finally beat the Washington Nationals during Tuesday exhibition in Palm Beach, Florida.

An MRI later confirmed that Walker had avoided any structural damage to his knee. However, there were signs of irritation.

Cardinals director Oliver Marmol said the team would adopt a cautious approach to Walker’s knee in next week.
“This is what it is,” Marmol told journalists on Wednesday. “We are going to let him calm down for a week, then we will push this baby again, and we will still have time to see him in many [spring training] games. “”

Walker should be ready for the opening day next month. Walker has made a few changes to his swing during the offseason and should start in the right field once the regular season at the start.
Walker has 21 career circuits and 71 products produced on 168 games. The right -handed striker also has an average of the. 255 career stick.

The cardinals finished last season with a file of 83–79, but did not progress for the playoffs.
Marmol supervised an improvement of 12 games compared to the 2023 season. St. Louis has not qualified for the MLB qualifiers since the franchise won the title of the central division of the NL 2022.
