A knee injury will keep the right field player to St. Louis Cardinals Jordan Walker outside the baseball diamond for the coming days.

An MRI later confirmed that Walker had avoided any structural damage to his knee. However, there were signs of irritation.

Cardinals director Oliver Marmol said the team would adopt a cautious approach to Walker’s knee in next week.

Marmol supervised an improvement of 12 games compared to the 2023 season. St. Louis has not qualified for the MLB qualifiers since the franchise won the title of the central division of the NL 2022.
