Dolly Parton had embraced reality that her husband Carl Dean is “in the arms of God now”.
The legend of country music went to her official Instagram account on Thursday, March 6, to share an emotional tribute for her late husband after three days, she announced the glow.
“It is a note of love to family, friends and fans. Thank you for all the messages, cards and flowers that you sent to pay tribute to the loss of my beloved husband Carl,” wrote Parton. “I cannot reach my hand personally with each of you, but I just know that it told me the world.”
“He’s in the arms of God now and I agree with that. I will always love you, Parton continued, pointing his 1973 Single Song I will Always Love You.
“Carl and I have spent many wonderful years together,” said Parton, adding: “Words cannot do justice to love that we have shared for more than 60 years. Thank you for your prayers and your sympathy.”
It is relevant to mention that Dean, married to Parton for 58 years, died at the age of 82 on March 3 in Nashville.
