Transcrypts wins Pitchfest at the Hong Kong consensus

Four and a half years ago, when Zain Zaidi applied for higher education, he submitted his academic transcriptions. But, thanks to an administrative error, the documents were lost and he almost lost his place.

Understand how someone’s life could be changed by not being able to prove something like an academic diploma, Zaidi has decided to try to facilitate the task.

Instead of going to his higher education, Zaidi has launched Transcrypts, which helps companies verify employment information. The startup fueled by the blockchain recently won the Pitchfest of Coindesk at the Hong Kong consensus.

Zaidi says that if we are unable to prove data on ourselves, we abandon something important on who we are. “We, as consumers, cannot really check who we are, own who we are,” Zaidi told Coindesk Live after leaving the scene.

Transcrypts gives individuals a “so-called” on their identification information, proving their information on the channel.

Zaidi told us that the company already generates around 5 million dollars in annual income. After information on employment, the startup is now developing in medical records and academic files.

Transcrypts raised $ 10,000 in tokens, a trophy and ten coaching sessions.

Credshields, an automated audit platform that analyzes, manages and corrects vulnerabilities in Solidity Smart Contracts.
