Everyone’s favorite musical recognition application, Shazam, has just received a new update that comes with a small feature, but particularly useful that has improved its integration with Spotify and Apple Music. The latest version of the application (version 18.9), arrived on March 5, is delivered with an improved synchronization function which automatically adds your songs identified in the Shazam application to a reading list of your Spotify or Apple Music account. So far, it seems that it is only available for Spotify and Apple Music users.
When you use Shazam’s musical recognition on iPhone and iPad, it will automatically add these songs to a special reading list of your account entitled “My shazam tracks”. Before Apple deploys version 18.9 of the application, the songs identified manually via the Shazam application itself would be synchronized with a separate reading list of your Spotify or Apple Music account, but not songs discovered via the control center. The new update is changing this and will now add songs to the reading list when identified via Siri and shortcuts, as well as the control center.
Since he joined the Apple family in 2018, Shazam has become more than a simple musical recognition application and has improved the experience of the best musical streaming services through his integrations – and his new ability to predict the music you listen to in the future. According to the description of the iOS app store, here is exactly how you can expect the last update to improve your experience again:
“We have synchronized songs with Apple Music and Spotify better than ever!” Shazam will now include songs found via musical recognition in Control Center, Siri and shortcuts to your “My Shazam Tracks” reading list in Apple Music or Spotify.
Simply switch “Sync Your Songs” Off in and on Shazam’s settings to re-synchronize all your songs previously discovered with the Shazam application. You may need to reopen Spotify to see the Reading Reading List.
Do not forget to keep your Shazam story safely and synchronized between your devices. To do this, activate iCloud synchronization in Shazam ‘settings.
For me, Shazam is one of my musical application companions, with regard to the identification of songs and I cannot quite put my finger on what currently plays – or even when I like the sound of a song and I want to know more. This also makes wonders when a familiar song begins to play during a film or a television program. It is a new feature, but rather effective, and that is how you can enjoy it for yourself.

It can be found in the “My Music” section of the application when you slip on the main song search page. From there, connect your Spotify or Apple Music account to Shazam and activate the tilting of “Sync Your Songs”.
When you activate the rocking, Shazam should synchronize all your songs identified with your Spotify or Apple Music account to create your reading list “My Shazam Tracks”. If he does not synchronize at the beginning, I made mine work by turning on and turning off the rocking several times.

Once your songs sought by Shazam have synchronized with your new reading list, listen to the contents of your heart.
