The Boston Bruins shocked the world of hockey, apparently exchanged the legend of the Brad Marchand franchise at the Florida Panthers before the NHL commercial deadline on Friday.
Marchand had commercial rumors swirling around him since he is a free -standing agent, but he was still planned that after 16 years, he and the Bruins will reach an agreement on his short -term future.
But the Bruins have decided to move it to one of their bitter rivals in recent seasons. Emily Kaplan of ESPN reported that the agreement would be concluded pending a commercial call.

“Think that everyone is amazed,” Kaplan said in his report, adding that Marchand rehabilitates an injury to Boston.

Marchand, a choice of third round of Bruins in 2010, helped the organization to win the Stanley Cup during its second season.
Since then, Marchand has been a left -wing pillar with four star offers during his 16 years with the team.

Marchand has an upper body injury after departure during the first period of the Bruins match with the Penguins of Pittsburgh on March 1. He was clumsily struck by defender Pierre-Olivier Joseph and never returned to the bench.
Where Marchand stops in the lines of the Panthers will be interesting to see considering how stuck in. But the pedigree in a merchant qualifying series and the ability to pass and pulled with precision at 36 years old make him a huge addition to the chances of the Florida to repeat as champions of the Stanley Cup.
This season, Marchand has scored 21 goals and 26 assists for 47 points in 61 games.
