Pakistan Senator Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Aun Abbas Bappi, said his dramatic arrest on Saturday, saying that he was forcibly taken from his home and then presented a judge without being informed of his accusations.

Addressing the Senate after his production orders were applied, Bappi thanked the president of the Senate, Senator Yusuf Raza Gilani, for having assured his presence in the House, reported Express News.

By telling his arrest, he said: “On March 6, I was at home when, at 8:30 am, 20 people arrived. My office and my residence were searched. I slept when they grabbed me with the pass and dragged me. They demanded my mobile phone. My son was also taken but released later. »»

Bappi also revealed: “My face was covered with a black cloth, and after two hours of travel, I was presented before a judge. When the judge asked what charges had been made against me, I asked where I was. The judge informed me that I was in Yazman, Bahawalpur, and that I was accused of chasing five deer. »»

He alleged that his detention was politically motivated, linking her to his campaign against inflation in Punjab.

He also referred to his temporary detention in a police station where Fawad Chaudhry had already been detained in a case of water tap flight.

Demanding fair treatment, Bappi insisted that the production orders of Chaudhry are applied, declaring: “either implement the orders of Ejaz Chaudhry or also cancel mine.”

To protest against the non-compliance of the production orders of Chaudhry, Bappi came out of the session of the Senate and was then escorted by the police of the room of Parliament.

Yesterday, the arrest of the Senator of the PTI Aun Abbas Buppi in a case registered against him by the department of fauna of the Punjab led to the fury during the session of the Senate on Thursday, with a stormy exchange between the president and the senator Manzoor Kakar.

Tarar assured in the Senate that he would guarantee that any legal assistance be provided to the held senator.

He said that an additional verification was underway to determine whether the arrest was legally justified. “If the arrest was carried out in accordance with legal procedures, the person must be presented to a magistrate and the process of bailing should continue accordingly,” he said.
