- The latest update of the Xbox Insider Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead program seems to cause problems
- Users report that their profiles have been wiped out of their consoles with other unable to install the update at all
- The problem would have now been solved, but you should always be careful
I have bad news if you are a member of the Xbox Insider program, because it seems that the last updated update to the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Head channels could be erased the user profiles of consoles.
According to comments on a recent article in the R / Xboxinsiders sub-program, users found their consoles X and Xbox Series and Xbox Series seem to be reset when they lit them in the last two days. If you are not lucky enough to be hit, it means that you will have to go through most of the configuration process in order to connect with your Xbox account. Although your purchases and game installations are fortunately impacted, personalization settings and fast curriculum data will be missing and it could take a little time to return to the desired configuration.
Some users have also declared that they were able to operate the update, with several failed installations. A unlucky reditor even said that the tongue setting of their Xbox console is now “adjusted at random in what seems to be Chinese” leaving them completely incapable of using the system because they “cannot read anything”.
The problems would have now been solved, but that does not mean that you should not carefully walk. This is a good reminder that you should probably not have that your main Xbox console is registered in the Xbox initiate program because, although very rare, there is always a chance that the first updates like this can go wrong.
This last update was published for the first time on March 5, becoming compulsory on March 6. It was intended to introduce a few small corrections to the profile system, television options and various small location adjustments.
