- Laptops Getac B360 and B360 Pro improve safety, speed and efficiency with AI
- B360 supports three SSDs, triple batteries and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity
- Built for extremes, B360 meets MIL-STD-810H and IP66 standards
Getac launched two new robust laptops compatible with AI, B360 and B360 Pro, providing for the first time AI tool tool capacities to its robust products after the introduction of F110 and K120.
Getac affirms that these commercial computers are designed for professionals working in extreme environments and demanding industries, such as defense, public security and public services, are also the first completely robust models to present intel core ultra series 2 and intel AI Boost technology.
In the tests, the devices treated with text tasks in a few seconds, demonstrating the advantages of the point of AI on cloud -based solutions.
Performance led by AI in a robust design
Beyond the AI, the B360 supports high-speed data transfer with Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. It also includes Wi-Fi 7, which improves wireless performance with faster speeds and lower latency.
The B360 is delivered with double standard batteries and the option of adding a third, allowing an extended operation without stopping time. It supports up to three fast SSDs, offering a total capacity of 6 TB.
For professionals who manage tasks with high graphic intensity, the B360 Pro includes a NVIDIA Quadro RTX A500 4GB GPU. This improves visual treatment while ensuring smooth performance in applications such as mapping, monitoring and 3D modeling.
In addition, the B360 Pro has an optional multimedia bay which can house a third battery, DVD or Blu-ray player, or additional storage.
Like most robust laptop computers, the Getac B360 and B360 Pro meet the MIL-STD-810H and IP66 standards, offering shock, dust and water protection. They can also be equipped with high precision GPS.
In defense applications, the B360 PRO can be equipped with additional PCMCIA readers for enlarged features and mounted on vehicles for mobile command operations. At the time of the press, the price of these laptops was not revealed. However, they will be available in April 2025.
“While the popularity of open source and mixing models of experts (MOE) continues to grow at a rapid pace, we have collaborated with industry customers to develop innovative vertical interstance applications that allow them to take full advantage of the operational advantages offered,” said James Hwang, president of Getac Technology Corporation.
“These advances will stimulate the request for Roved Edge IA devices such as the Next Generation B360 and B360 Pro, and accelerate the adoption of AI in the public security, public and defense sectors.”
