Meghan Markle received praise from the director of her latest Netflix series, With love, Meghan.
Speak with People magazineDirector Michael Steed talked about his work experience with the Duchess of Sussex.
Michael said: “It was very fun. I was always going to be the point of conversation, so she had someone to talk to at any time and make him more conversational and comfortable. But that has certainly changed to the place where the cameras turned to me.”
“Her cuisine is quite perfect. She is not chef, and it is certainly not supposed to give the impression that she is, but there is just a love of the kitchen which is palpable,” he added.
Sharing that Meghan created a “comfortable environment” on the set, Michael said that the Duchess of Sussex “as a person is completely in Los Angeles, California, from start to finish”.
He said that because of Meghan’s childhood experience, his relationship “with the crew became very quickly quickly. She understands what it means to be on the set and she connected with the crew more than anyone.”
In addition, Michael also revealed that his favorite scenes came from the moment when Meghan is committed to activities such as organizing flowers and packing gifts.
“It was the most fun for me. It was there that she really lost herself in what she was doing, and the camera has disappeared,” said Michael.
Discussing the scene of the Netflix series flowers shop, Michael said: “It was such a fun moment in her mind – watching her choose the flowers and showing how she thinks.”
“I know that seems to be cheesy, but I really think that the heart of being Meghan is her generosity. She wants to do what is more, and I think that is something that everyone should take to heart,” said Michael Steed.
