The Seattle Seahawks agreed to sign the quarter-Arrière Sam Darnold to a three-year contract, according to several reports. The agreement would be $ 110.5 million, which includes $ 55 million guaranteed.
Darnold is the first major quarter of the high free agent class for 2025 veterans to sign with a new team. Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson are the other great passers -by who should sign new offers.

Darnold’s move to Seahawks comes after a year of career with the Vikings du Minnesota. He led the team at the playoffs and was considered a competitor Fringe MVP for much of the year, he launched 4,319 yards and 35 affected.

The Seahawks are now starting a new era in the quarter after exchanging Geno Smith last week.
Darnold will inherit an offensive support cast in Seattle which includes the wide Jaxson Smith-Njigba, DK Metcalf, the balloon Kenneth Walker and the tight winger Noah Fant. Smith used this talent to help Seattle finish with a 10-7 file, but it missed the playoffs.
Now Seattle hopes Darnold will be able to produce better results.
Meanwhile, the Vikings now have a quarter decision to take with Rodgers and Wilson still on the market, while determining what to do with the first 2024 JJ McCarthy round on the list.
