As a editor -in -chief of the Techradar houses, I spend a lot of time testing and writing on the vacuum cleaners. I think Dyson manufactures some of the best vacuum cleaners on the market. They are super easy to maneuver, they are well built and the aspiration is excellent. Some even have things such as lasers, sensors and LED screens. But almost all – bars the very high model – have a big basic use problem, and I just don’t understand why.
Here it is: the trigger must be continuously maintained when using the void.
If you suck something larger than a doormat, it means a painful index. This also hinders maneuverability, as you need to take into account your bad figures when you twist the void in annoying corners. I have tested many vacuum cleaners now, and according to my experience, it is rare that the manufacturer does not provide a way to lock power for continuous race. However, whenever I bring my Dyson V8 out to perform comparative tests, I am immediately frustrated by the trigger configuration.
It is not a price; Most of the best budget vacuums solve this potential problem. Even the ultra-coche vacuum cleaner that I bought when I bought my first apartment (and discovered, to my horror, how boring adult devices could cost), had a simple but efficient plastic clip that kept the trigger. Of course, the aspiration was barely a soft breeze, but at least my finger was not painful when I greet my new emptiness ineffective on my floors.
What is more confusing for me is that Dyson is clearly Invest in product development. It is one of the best vacuum brands in terms of innovation. This is an incredibly basic convivial problem that should have been resolved before Dyson begins to play with lasers and dust sensors in real time.
Trigger vs button
The brand has Correction of the problem on Dyson Gen5detect – The most recent and the best Dyson vacuum by specifications. This model uses a single pressure button rather than a trigger for operation, which means that your fingers do not need to get involved (except to adjust it on or deactivate).
But Gen5detect is a very Expensive model, mainly because it is full of advanced technologies and engineering. Although I am happy, Gen5 exists, for most people, it will be exaggerated. I generally think that something like Dyson V11 offers a much better balance of performance at the price, and I would recommend it with all my heart … if it was not for this annoying trigger problem.

Dyson was late in resolving his trigger problem, and I think he should consider resolving the problem with at least some of the four models that remain in the current range and precede GEN5. Let us not forget that even these older models are still not particularly cheap. Imagine splashes $ 749.99 / £ 649.99 $ 1,449 on a V15 detect and discover that Dyson has not even spared a thought for your bad index.
