After Netflix offered overviews in the last bloody chapter of serial killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) with a disturbing first image and a short trailer, the streaming service finally dropped an official two-minute trailer for You Season 5.
Joe’s murderous journey is coming to an end with You Season 5 while his deadly getaways in Los Angeles, San Francisco and London see him come back to the place where it all started in New York.
The teased trailer “the killer final that you have never seen coming” and leave the clip alone, I think You Season 5 has promised to become the best season to date, even if my favorite character Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) is not there to make the life of Joe a nightmare.
In the trailer of one of the best shows in Netflix, the killer lovers of the book is back in New York alias “The Greatest City of the World”, with his You Season 4 Love Interest Kate Lockwood (Charlotte Ritchie). Now that Kate is the powerful leader of her father’s company, Joe came out of the shadows and has passed under the spotlight as he reveals: “The fame has definitely took a little time, but to live happy forever, you had to bury your old self.”
However, his “perfect life” is threatened when her dark past is splashed in the media and a young woman called Bronte (Madeline Brewer) comes to work in her new bookstore.

While the new trailer also teases a new rivalry between Joe and its beautiful sisters Raegan and Maddie Lockwood (Anna Camp), familiar faces of Joe’s past also make an appearance because the sneaky protagonist has made a lot of enemies that have now come out.
So who could seek his revenge this time? Well, Nadia who has become a student (Amy-Leigh Hickman) You Season 4 is seen in the trailer after being sent to prison for a crime that Joe has committed and there is also Annika (Kathryn Gallagher) of the first season, an influencer of the social media who was friends with the ex-girlfriend of Joe Beck (Elizabeth Lail). Beck and his best friend Peach (Shay Mitchell) were murdered by Joe and now she is on him.

The new arrivals who join the regulars of the Badgley and Ritchie series are Madeline Brewer in the role of Bronte, “an enigmatic and free of mind playwright who comes to work for Joe Goldberg in her bookstore” and Anna Camp as a fine twin-sisters of Joe Raegan and Maddie Lockwood.
Griffin Matthews also joins the cast under the name of Teddy Lockwood, the brother-in-law of Joe, and Baby meeting Star Nava Mau as a detective Marquez. Amy-Leigh Hickman returns to You Season 5 as Nadia and Kathryn Gallagher resumes her season 1 role in Annika.
