Microsoft adds editing and image compression to its Windows sharing function – and I couldn’t be happier

  • The beta version of Microsoft Windows 11 23h2 has a new editing and compression feature in Windows Share
  • It is not clear if it will happen to other functionality updates other than 11:2 p.m.
  • This could make the snipping tool obsolete because cropping, adjustment and filtering are all possible

Microsoft has been criticized recently due to its Windows 11 24:2 problems – but fortunately we bring it GOOD Windows 11 updates the news because it would have introduced new features for image sharing and editing capacities.

Spotted by Phantomofearth on X, Microsoft will bring the image editing and compression to its Windows Share function, as the Windows report points out. This will allow users to crop and adjust the images without using the snipping tool while having access to file compression.
