11 other officers promoted in 22nd year

Islamabad:

The high -level central selection committee approved on Monday the promotion of 11 officers of 21st year to the 22nd year, increasing the total number of officers recently promoted to the best year to 47.

The Board of Directors met here at the Cabinet Division with Darrier Minister Ishaq Dar on the President. He approved the promotion of 11 bureaucrats from the information group, the Group secretariat, the railway group (CNT), the economist group and the postal group.

Last week, the board of directors of its meeting promoted 36 officers belonging to the administrative service of Pakistan, the police and services outside the 22nd year. The latest promotions increased the number of bureaucrats promoted to 47.

The newly promoted officers included the information secretary Ambreen Jan of the information group. Its promotion in the 22nd year has completed a triple of three consecutive women secretaries for women. Previously, Zahida Parveen and Shahira Shahid had been the information secretaries.

The other promoted officers were Ayesha Humaira Chaudhry, Zahor Ahmed, Dr. Nawaz Ahmed, Hammad Shamimi and Muhammad Aslam Ghori of the secretariat group; Syed Mazhar, Shahzad Hassan and Syed Muhammad Ammar Naqvi from the railway group; Dr. Imotiaz Ahmed of the economist group and Samiullah Khan of the postal group.

Meanwhile, the Board of Directors has not discussed the promotions of the Federal Board of Return (FBR) officers of customs and internal income due to a suspension order rendered by a court. The Council would meet again Tuesday (today) to discuss the promotion of officers in 21st and 20th year.
