President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, responding to growing concerns concerning terrorism in the country, highlighted the importance of unity in the fight against increasing threats.
While addressing the National Assembly concerning the attack on Jaffar Express, he congratulated the forces for preventing a major disaster, Express News reported.
He said: “Terrorism is not a new problem; it has a different context in Balutchistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.”
“Whether it is religious terrorism or separatist terrorism, the PPP opposes all forms. No one has suffered from terrorism than PPP.”
Bilawal Bhutto continued: “I was the son of the Prime Minister, and only a year old, there was an attempt to take away from our house. My mother kept me safe in London, but finally, she was martyred. After the martyrdom of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, terrorism, increased.”
He said: “What the whole world could not do, Pakistan has achieved. Through the sacrifices of the people and forces, Pakistan was released from terrorism. When this house united, we crushed terrorism. When PTI held its sit-in, APS (public school of the army) occurred, and we all gathered to create the national action plan.”
The president of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto, said: “We have broken the backbone of the terrorists, but today, terrorism is increasing its head again. The situation is more dangerous than ever.
Bilawal Bhutto also said: “Terrorists have no ideology or politics. Religious terrorists have no religion. The only objective of these terrorists is to kill innocent people. Religious terrorists do not want to apply Islam, and do not want linguistic or Baloch people do not want freedom for Balochistan actions.
He added: “These terrorists are supported by world powers, and the condemnation alone will not solve the problem. We must decide the action to take. Terrorists kill parachinary people in Baloutchistan. We must all unite against terrorism.
The Minister of Defense welcomed the chief Minister of Balutchistan, which is good, but the chief ministers of Balutchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa must provide unconditional support to the federal government in the fight against terrorism. “”
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had made the National Action Plan (NAP), so why can’t Shehbaz Sharif do the national action plan? PPP, during his mandate, gave rights to Balutchistan. We have fought against those who have not respected the Constitution, from Waziristan to Balutchistan.
He said that residents of Balutchistan demanded their rights. In order to confront terrorists, operations must be carried out, but these operations must not lead to collective losses. Terrorists are heading for their goals, and burning fire in Balutchistan will first propagate in Pakistan and then in the world. While we are all united in the conviction, we must also be united in response.
