The leaders of the government and the opposition called for political unity following the fatal terrorist attack against the Jaffar Express, the train which was diverted in Bolan in Balutchistan.

The Liberation Army of Baloch Prohibited (Bla), during Tuesday’s attack on the Jaffar Express, exploded the railroad tracks and held around 440 hostage passengers in a day confrontation with security services in a remote mountain pass.

The army, after cleaning the train and saved hostages, said that he had killed 33 attackers. Before the start of the operation, the terrorists had killed 21 passengers, while four security staff were martyred during the OP.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s political and public advisor, Rana Sanaullah, reminded the people that the Minister of the Prime of the time, Nawaz Sharif, contacted the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, after the APS attack to form a political consensus.

“Certainly […] Today, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is ready, whether this political party is with us or against us, to sit with everyone, even if it is his PTI, “said Sanaullah speaking on PK Press Club News’ “PK Press Club Pakistan” program on Friday.

Prime Minister Shehbaz said Thursday that a meeting of the country’s leaders would be called upon to maintain a consultation on the issue of terrorism, as was done after the attack on the army public school in Peshawar.

“We needed national unity and solidarity which will support the armed forces to fight terrorism and Khawarij,” he said at a meeting with political leadership in Quetta.

At the same time, without naming Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), he regretted the language used by certain elements of the country against the armed forces and Pakistan.

“Propaganda poisoned against the armed forces was not acceptable and tolerable,” he warned.

Meanwhile, in his speech in the National Assembly, the president of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, said all the political parties present in the lower chamber should admit that the terrorists who were involved in the attack on Jaffar Express and other acts of terrorism were their common enemies.

He argued that if political leadership did not develop a consensus on the issue, the threat spread to the country, the whole region and the world.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif regretted that the PTI has established a condition to sit with the government against terrorism, first demanding the release of its founder, Imran Khan.

Speaking on PK Press Club News’ Program “AAJ Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath”, he said that the government was ready to approach them for a conference in all games (APC). Asif stressed that this is a national problem and should be assisted unconditionally. He added that the PTI insists: “No Khan, no Pakistan.”

Speaking on PK Press Club News’ The “capital speech” program, the Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Tari Fazal Chaudhry, said the government was ready to dialogue with the Baloutche people and their leaders.

However, he said that activists had no connection with the Baloutche audience.

In addition, the National Assembly also unanimously adopted a resolution strongly condemning the diversion of Jaffar Express and all the acts of terrorism that endanger people’s lives and disrupt peace.

The resolution was moved by the Minister of Besthry Parliamentary Affairs with the signatures of representatives of all the parties, the appreciated Pakistani army, Pakistan Air Force, the body frontier, the SSG and other law enforcement agencies for their unwafectible commitment, their courage and their sacrifice to safeguard the lives of citizens and protect the integrity of Pakistan.

The Chamber expressed the determination to take all possible measures to eliminate terrorism from all corners of the country, claiming that no group, individual and ideology that seeks to undermine the security, prosperity and sovereignty of the nation would be authorized to spread fear, hatred and violence within the country’s territorial limits.

He also undertook not to allow any terrorist activity not to be controlled, ensuring that the one who tries to destabilize faces full force of the law.

The secretary general of the PTI, Salman Akram Raja, described the attack on Jaffar Express as a national tragedy and insisted that “the distances between the people were to be reduced and the true voice of Pakistan is listened to”.

“It is important to understand the current situation confronted with the country and it is time to listen to the true voice of Pakistan, in particular Balutchistan. Instead of eliminating any party, the path of unity should be adopted,” he said in a statement.

The head of the opposition in the Senate and the senior PTI official, Senator Shibli Faraz, demanded a APC on the issue of terrorism in Balutchistan. He said that the founder of PTI should also be released in parole and invited to the proposed APC.

Sahibzada Hamid Raza, head of the Sunni council and an ally of the PTI, while speaking on PK Press Club News’ The “Talk Capital” program also underlined the urgent need for a national dialogue to solve the problems of Balutchistan.
