During four seasons, Emily moved to Paris, worked constantly to impress her boss Sylvie in the marketing firm and fell in love (more than once). She was clearly occupied, but it seems that season 5 will be her busiest period to date because she continues her new life in Rome by creating the new GRAETEAGE agency office.
And although we can be four seasons, Emily in Paris is still at the top of the Netflix charts, taking first place in the world top 10 in its first in August 2024 and accumulating 19.9 million views in the first four days. So, without surprise, Emily in Paris comes back to find out more.
A quick renewal after the first of season 4 on the streaming platform means that we have a lot to say. And although we do not wait so support to discover what Gabriel will then do and how Emily will deal with it – and her new love, Marcello – we can look into all that there is to know about Emily in Paris Season 5.
From the release date of the program and the distribution provided for in its history of synopsis of the intrigue and rumors about what to expect, here is what we have gathered so far Emily in Paris Season 5.

Emily in Paris Season 5 was officially renewed in September 2024, just a few days after the release of season 4. The creator of the show, Darren Star, told Tudum: “We are delighted with the incredible response to this season of Emily in Paris And delighted to come back for a fifth to continue the adventures of Emily in Rome and Paris! »»
And in November 2024, Variety revealed that a filming calendar had been confirmed: “The shooting should start the first week of May of next year (2025) with its usual key crew, ensuring that the show will keep its French DNA.”
So, although we do not yet have an official release date, we know that we will return to the two European cities for season 5. In addition, we can certainly speculate on the basis of the exit calendar of last season as long as we could expect.
For season 4, the shooting began in January 2024 and presented its first Laster the same year in August. If we imagine a similar gap this time, we are examining a possible release date in December in 2025. Rome and Paris at Christmas? It seems quite romantic.
Emily in season 5 of Paris: has a trailer been released?
Since the cast and the team have not yet started to film, there is no Emily in Paris Traille from season 5 to share. The trailer for season 4 fell a month before the release date, so we do not expect at least at the end of 2025, but we will be sure to update here as soon as it falls.
Emily in season 5 of Paris: confirmed and predicted casting

Potential spoilers follow Emily in Paris Season 5.
Although there is no official news from Cast Returning for season 5, apart from Lily Collins taking up her role as Emily, we could make a fairly assured assumed assumed which will come back on the basis of the previous seasons:
- Lily Collins like Emily Cooper
- Lucas bravo like Gabriel
- Eugenio Franceschini like Marcello
- Ashley Park like Mindy Chen
- Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu like Sylvie GRATEAU
- Samuel Arnold as Julien
- Bruno Gouery like Luke
- Camille Razat as Camille
- Lucien Lavisount like Alfie
There was also the introduction of the newcomer to the Geneviève series (Thalia Besson), Laurent’s daughter of a previous relationship. We saw her join the agency of Sylvie in season 4 and move her on Gabriel, in the running for a piece of Emily’s life.
Although she was rejected by the French chief, her return for season 5 seems incredibly likely. We also imagine recurring characters Laurent (Arnaud Binard), Antoine (William Abadie) and Benoît (Kevin Dias) to return.
Emily in Paris season 5: synopsis and rumors of history

Complete spoilers follow Emily in Paris Seasons 1-4 below.
It wouldn’t be Emily in Paris Without Paris and although season 4 has seen the executive marketing / romantic move desperate in Rome to launch the GRATEAU agency office (and to be with Marcello), we know that the creator Darren Star said that the casting and the crew would film in both places for season 5. That it means that Emily will travel between the two, we will have to wait and see.
Of course, the main story for Emily has always been on love, as well as being excellent in her work. While we have seen his relationship with chief Gabriel flourish and withered throughout Emily in Paris, It seemed quite final in season 4 when Gabriel ended things. Never one to weaken, Emily found a new love with the beautiful Italian, Marcello, and moved to Rome to start a new life – with a little push from Sylvie.
Addressing Good Morning America for the role of his new love in season 5, Lily said: “Marcello is a whole different adventure that we want for Emily because we finally want Emily to have a better work / life balance. We want Emily to be able to smile without condition. We want to see her beyond her Vacay mode. And it comes at the ideal time.

But it is not necessarily finished with Gabriel, at least not for him, because he had a sudden achievement in the final of season 4 that he had made a huge mistake. Something that Emily has not yet learned. Thus, while Emily has already been confused between lovers, it seems that season 5 should put her new Marcello love against her former flame Gabriel. But that also does not mean that past bullets will not come back too.
In conversation with Deadline, creator Darren Star said when he was asked if Camille and Alfie were out of the image: “Not necessarily. I mean, people come and come out of people’s lives in shows for a while, but that does not mean that they are out of the table. “”
Season 4 was also divided into two games for the first time in Emily in Paris history. Although there is no question if it will happen again, Star said on the deadline for the duration of the episode: “I have the impression that the series of shows continues, there is just more history to tell for more characters so that the episodes become a little longer.”

There are certainly more stories to tell, especially with regard to Mindy and her missed Eurovision experience and her growing singing career. There is Geneviève and her effort to compete with Emily in their personal and professional life. And there is Slyvie’s effort to develop Greeteau agency in two major European cities.
Regarding love, Star said to Forbes: “I don’t think there is a lot of history once it happens happily. These are very passionate relationships and strong characters and what keeps me committed is to find these obstacles that seem really emotional. ” SO, Emily in Paris Season 5 seems ready to bring back the passion and love of previous seasons – this time through Paris And Rome.
Will there be more seasons from Emily in Paris?

We are not sure, but it seems unlikely. While season 3 and 4 were part of a two -season renewal, season 5 was not. But, when asked if season 4 would be the last chapter, Star told Deadline: “I really think the show has a life beyond next season. It is not necessarily designed as a last chapter. I think like all the other shows, it is a rich whole.
There is no end in sight until everyone has the impression that it is time to end. And I do not think that this show is limited by a certain number of seasons, I think it is limited by the enthusiasm and excitement of everyone to do it … “
Of course, we know this season 4 not The last chapter. But if the vision figures and the passion for the show continue, it would be difficult to see why Emily in Paris would finish, but ultimately it is up to Netflix to decide.
