Associators of the Women’s World Cup playing Lahore from April 9 to 19

Pakistan against Ireland and Scotland VS will launch the qualification competition in Lahore on April 9 before the Odi Women’s World Cup, which will be played in October this year in India. Bangladesh and Thailand, the other scrums in the six -team event, will face the next day.

In addition to India, Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka have already qualified for the World Cup, and the last two places will be filled by the two best teams of the qualification tournament. The games will be played at the new look of Gaddafi Stadium and the Lahore City Cricket Association Groups. The two sites, as well as the land of the Aitchison college, welcome the warm -up matches on April 5 and 7, after the arrival of the teams invited to Lahore on April 3. The last series of matches will be played on April 19.

The calendar was officially published today, on March 14, a little more than three weeks from the start of the tournament, although three boards – the Antilles, Ireland and Bangladesh – dated unofficial dates and sites during the announcement of the matches of their season and in the case of Bangladesh, their team for the event.

This is the second multi-team tournament that takes place in Pakistan, after the Champions Trophy and all the matches will be played in the country. Lahore is the only city used for the event, because there will be no PSL matches that are held there until April 24. This tournament begins in Rawalpindi on April 11.
As indicated earlier on Espncricinfo, due to the reciprocal arrangement reached by the BCCI and the PCB before the Champions Trophy earlier this year, Pakistan, if they qualify for the main event, will not go to India to play their matches. These matches will be played in a neutral place.
India will host the ODI Women’s World Cup for the fifth time in 2025 – and the first time after 2011. It will also be the first world tournament for women who have been held in India since 2016, when the T20 World Cup has been parallel to the male event. The 2025 edition should be similar to the 2022 edition, eight participating teams and playing a total of 31 games.
