Three new ministers sworn after the expansion of the federal office

Following the recent expansion of the federal office of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, three new ministers were sworn in at Awan-I-Sadr (president of the president), Express News reported.

On Friday, the swearing -taking ceremony was officiated by the acting president Yousaf Raza Gillani. The new ministers have sworn include Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, Shizra Mansab Ali and Armaghan Subhani.

Syed Imran Ahmed Shah was appointed Federal Minister for Poverty Reduction and Social Security, while Armaghan Subhani received the post of Minister of State for Planning and Development. Shizra Mansab Ali will serve as a Minister of State for Climate Change.

After the ceremony, the official notifications of their appointments were also issued, bearing the total number of members of the federal cabinet at 54. The cabinet is now made up of 31 federal ministers, 11 state ministers, 4 advisers and 8 special assistants.
